PLINKY PLONK AND DUPR:
RATINGS, LIVE IN EVERY FORMAT.

18 September 2026  /  Wayne Cohn, PLINKY PLONK

Players can link their DUPR account, carry their rating across the app, and send confirmed match results back to DUPR from every Organise format.

Fixtures, round robins, leagues, box leagues and ladders. Venue count is a live figure straight from the directory.

What went live

DUPR is the rating system most competitive pickleball players already use. From today, a PLINKY PLONK player can link their DUPR account and have their rating and their results move between the two without any manual admin.

Linking runs through DUPR's own hosted login. A player signs in to DUPR inside PLINKY PLONK, we never see their password, nothing is shared until they choose to connect, and they can disconnect at any time from their account settings.

Your rating, wherever you play

Once an account is linked, the player's DUPR rating shows on their PLINKY PLONK dashboard and profile, along with the date it last moved. DUPR pushes rating changes through to us, so the number stays current on its own. Nobody has to retype a rating or screenshot an app.

Results that count, from every format

PLINKY PLONK's Organise tools cover fixtures, round robins, leagues, box leagues and ladders. Scores logged in any of those formats are submitted to DUPR, so a casual Tuesday night box league in Kent now counts towards a player's rating in exactly the same way a tournament does.

Nothing reaches DUPR on one person's word. A score only goes across after someone on the other side of the net confirms it. Either player can flag a result instead, which routes it to our team for review rather than to DUPR.

DUPR+ events, checked properly

Organisers can set an event to Standard, which any connected DUPR account can enter, or to DUPR+, which requires a DUPR+ subscription. We check the player's real entitlement with DUPR before they can take part, and when something is missing we say what it is rather than showing a button that quietly does nothing.

Nobody gets locked out

Players without a DUPR account can still find courts, book, pay, join sessions and record scores exactly as before. The DUPR layer is additive. It rewards the players who want a rating and stays out of the way of everyone else.

"MOST PEOPLE NEVER PLAY A TOURNAMENT. THEY PLAY ON A TUESDAY NIGHT WITH THREE MATES. THIS MAKES THOSE GAMES COUNT."
